The goallab consists of a group of experimental psychologists studying the role of goals in social cognition and behavior. The goallab is part of the Social Psychology research program on social-cognitive and interpersonal determinants of behavior, which is accommodated at the department of Psychology at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.

Henk Aarts, Wolfgang Stroebe, and Harm Veling were awarded a ZonMw grant of €269,188 for their proposal "Stopping automatic behavior automatically: A new approach to changing unhealthy eating habits".
